Fuel Tank Vent Valve
This valve is normally open to permit the free flow of air in or out of the fuel tank. Should the fuel level rise to the valve inlet level, the float closes the valve to prevent fuel flow out of the tank.

| Fuel Tank Vent Valve, Normally Open
This valve is normally open to permit the free flow of air in or out of the fuel tank. Should the fuel level rise to the valve inlet level, the float closes the valve to prevent fuel flow out of the tank. The valve also incorporates a pressure relief which will relieve excess pressure inside the tank, regardless of float position.

Float Fuel Shutoff Valve
This normally open valve vents a fuel tank. When attributes are such that fuel could spill out the vent, the valve closes by float action. Enclosed in the float cover with the float is a steel ball. In the event of inverted flight, the ball will overcome the float buoyancy and close the valve. An over-riding pressure relief valve is provided, however, to prevent tank internal pressure from becoming excessive.

Fuel Tank Vent Valve, Normally Closed
This valve will vent outward if tank pressure exceeds 2 PSI, and inward at 1 PSI negative. The valve has a float and a rollover feature which prevents fuel from being vented from a fuel tank or in a rolled over position regardless of pressure. If the valve is in a high fuel and pressure condition, it will revert to a normal venting function as soon as the fuel level is lowered without having to reduce tank pressure.
